Was your blood pressure low when you went to the Dr and had the tests or is this a new symptom? The pressure you mentioned is low. Sometimes a low pressure is normal for people especially if they are on ACE inhibitors but even then that is a bit low. Considering your other symptoms you should be evaluated in a ER. Depending on your age this is considered a cardiac issue until proved otherwise.

85/60 is low, but if you've been to the Dr. I'm sure he/she told you so. 120/80 is normal but many young and healthy people tend to run 100/60 and have no problem. Drink a lot of fluid which will boost your blood volume and increase your blood pressure. Also, before standing up, sit on the edge of your bed until you don't feel dizzy anymore.

That is pretty low I would say. My mother has had a similar problems and it turned out she had a low amount of iron in her system. She used to take cod liver oil, and increase her red meat intake.
One of my friends also had this problem and she learned quite recently that she has a hyperactive thyroid gland. If you are feeling dizzy and faint with a low blood pressure something probably isn't right.
Maybe try a different doctor.
Also, get your ears checked, you could have fluid in them that won't drain which is something that can cause a dizzy unbalanced feeling. Either way you need a second opinion.

You have very low blood pressure. This is not normal. Keep after the doctor to do more tests until he finds out what is wrong. If you are not comfortable or satisfied with your doctor, find another one, but do not ignore this problem.

Systolic blood pressure < 120 and a diastolic pressure < 80 is considered normal. Top number is systolic and the bottom number is diastolic. Are you getting up too fast? Is your reading that way all the time? Or just once?

85/60 is a little low, but nothing to worry very seriously about. Had you been lying down and resting when you took it? If so that's probably why it was low. Or if you had just stood up after you had been lying down for a long time. This is called orthostatic hypotension and this happens because you stood up to quick after sitting or lying. When this happens you can get very lightheaded and dizzy. That could be what is going on!! Just take it slower when you stand up after sitting or lying for a long time!

it is a bit low, "average" resting blood pressure is about 110-120 over 60-80. However, lower pressures can be considered healthy for some people (especially younger persons) depending on how efficient your heart is pumping blood through your arteries into your capillaries.
