I want to do some thing romantic for my man for valentines day because he works at night i and he wont get home till about 10ish i have planned to have rose petals and canldes all the way downt he hall way so when he opens the door thats what he will see. i just dont know what do do for a gife or any thing any ideas???

Gifts aren't what guys want on valentine's day. Unless by gifts you mean sex.

Hm-mm rose petals...Well u have to know your partner if your significant other showers u with those types of gifts then he will more than likely appreciate it more. What kinda reaction r u trying to get out of your man? Do u want him to get all mushy and start crying? Or do u want him to look into your eyes and smile and say Thanx's baby I loved it......More than likely get him something he's been asking for r something he can use. However, u cant go wrong by feeding a man and then putting his gift before him, while he's eating....The result most of the time is priceless..

The rose petals and candles all the way down the hallway are a "perfect" set up for your gift behind the door, this is perfect :
How about a brand new "18 volt Cordless Drill motor" behind that door ?
You could decorate it with new drill bits circling the gift !

What you planned to do is cool and remeber--the jewelery, card and candy companies make everyone feel that they have to spend lots of money to PROVE love. Rose petals, red arrows taped to the wall showing the way, maybe one line of a love note ( one to a piece of paper)taped along the way to the bedroom should be fun... Happy Valentines Day.

rose petals and candles are what a guy would do for a woman, not the same effect for a guy as you might think.
guys are VERY simple creatures, just give him yourself and he will be happy i'm sure
