I want to fill in the engravings on a silver ring I have with black paint, but I am not sure what type of paint would work.

Thanks!

If it's real silver then I wouldn't do it. Just give it time and it will tarnish in those areas and fill in all by itself. You could maybe do a search on the Internet for how to speed up the tarnishing process but I don't know of any paint that would not peel off or totally ruin your ring.
