I assume by "alone" you mean single. I for one think Valentine's Day is the perfect reason to change that. Go out. You know better than me what you can do where you are. But go out, and try to find youself a fellow single person to spend time with, and maybe the two of you won't be single for long.

Well.. first of all, realize that this whole Valentine's Day business is Halmarks way of getting you to spend you money... if you want to tell someone you love them, do it the other 364 days of the year!!!
But, if you are a sentimental person who puts value in a day established to sell cards, flowers, and candy... then go ahead and treat yourself to flowers... go to your local florist and have them sent to you at work. Indulge yourself in a delicious dinner out alone.... splurge on Godiva chocolates... and be kind to yourself that day!! Love yourself... it is very important.
Now that you are confident in yourself.. and are proving that you are worth loving without the cards, candy, flowers, etc. from another person.... you'd be surprised to see how that positive feeling you have towards yourself will attract others to treat you with the same loving kindness you treat yourself!!!

sometimes, it's o.k. to be "alone". I heard that you should give yourself some "alone time", after a relationship, marriage, whatever.....1 month for every year you were together. Everybody knows, it's not good to get somebody right off the rebound. It's good to get your brain back to where it should be. You can't be good to someone else, until you are good to you first.

Think of the people in your life that mean a lot to you. Send them a card or give them a call. Everyone likes to know that you appreciate them and what better day, than the day for the celebration of love.
