That would depend.

You need to be aware that some drugs that can cause a growth spurt can actually stunt your final height value.

These are androgens, very much related to male sex hormones, the growth occurs at the ends of the bones. A young person can get an inch to 1 1/2 inch in extra height in a year or so but since the end bones 'fuse' together futher growth in height is halted.

These drugs also carry longterm risks of liver disease.

Other drugs like growth hormone could help if and thats an if, you have an abnormally low level of the hormone, tests would reveal that. But, probably most people don't have that problem, so it is really best to avoid the money pit of trying to change who you are.

Many people who are short up until their late teens can have a naturally occuring dramatic increase in height before they hit 21.

So, in general, I would not fool with it.

See the merck manual now free online, you can trust it for the most part, but remember it is published by a drug company.

Injections of human growth hormone can make some people taller if the bone ends haven't already hardened. I don't know much about the details of what height (or maybe lack of height?) is considered appropriate for someone to receive the injections. I'm 5 feet tall exactly, and I wouldn't have minded having 2 or 3 more inches :-)

Human growth hormone, but you need to be young and very short to be prescribed it. There is a harness you wear and hang upside down on while stretching and/or weight lifting, but it takes hours a day. Most boys like short girls, too. Women like Tom Cruise, don't they?

Depends on your age and current physical maturity. If you have not reached puberty yet then maybe, but if you have past it then the answer is no. You should really try to be happy with who you are.
