I did a restore of my computer which has Windows XP. It originally had MS Works on it. Once I put in a new hard drive and did a restore, my Works is gone. Anybody know of a place to download a free works program? Or any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I would recommend that you consider getting OpenOffice (www.openoffice.org). Like MS Works, OpenOffice is an office suite program with word processing , a spreadsheet, database, drawing, math, and presentation programs. I've been using OpenOffice for the past three years, and it works pretty good for what I need. OpenOffice is freely available over the internet, and it has more features that MS Works would have.
