Of course! My tradition also supports the big bang theory....in a way. God and Goddess came together and made a 'big bang' of their own....the universe is a result of their union. I can visualize that so perfectly....the explosion created from that ultimate orgasmic expression. Most of paganism is nature based....and evolution is a powerful force within nature. How has your spirit evolved since finding the path? Well, as above, so below....as within, so without.

"Pagan" is an umbrella term that covers a wide variety of religious practices.
However, I've never met a Pagan that had a problem with the theory of evolution. And personally I think that there's plenty of evidence backing it up. Because my own religion, Wicca, doesn't have a creation myth, we have no teaching that contradicts the findings of science.

Evolutionary theory makes no claim about ultimate causes, it simply describes mechanism. Any self consistent system of religious belief is equally compatible with evolutionary science. The Abrahamic traditions are simply not internally consistent. Some of the Pagan traditions seem to be. Ask Lökásennä, she's smart and willing to give good information.

If someone can work the beliefs of paganism and Christianity together - and they can. And Paganism is incredibly diverse I wouldn't be too surprised if there is at least one creationist Pagan out there - just by probability its possible.

It fits beautifuly. Most work we have writen by Pagan philosophers is very sophiticated and shows an understanding of metaphysics, logic, metaphor, and symbolism that would put most Christians (but not all) to shame.

I hate how people think God created Evolution. It's as if they WANT to ignore what Evolution is.

I really don't know anything about paganism, but I don't see why they can't coexist. Evolution does not disprove a god.
