No. You will need more RAM. Basically, it is too much OS for most people's PC's at this point. I'd wait until you either install more RAM or get a new PC with Vista already installed.

Read this review, it's got me convinced...

"Whilst initially impressive, after a while these changes can cause problems. Users have reported that the new schemes not only slows down their PC’s but also cause it to crash randomly. It can also be a pain whenever there’s a problem with your PC. Since you are running a somewhat modified version of XP, normal troubleshooting guides may not work. You’ll subsequently have to uninstall the pack to make sure that it isn’t causing the problem. Fortunately however, the pack comes with an uninstaller that makes reverting back to XP simple although in time honoured Windows style, you’ll have to restart the computer.

For anyone who doesn’t add or remove programs regularly, we’d recommend this pack as it does an impressive job at emulating the $200+ Vista look. However, for those that make regular changes to their PC, the pack can end up being more hassle than its worth as the changes made can conflict with interfaces of other programs."

Pros
· Impressive icons and desktop changes
· Free – cheaper than upgrading to Vista

Cons
· Lacks the performance enhancements of Vista
· Can complicate installation of future programs

While you wait for Vista to be worth the trouble go here;

Get Ubuntu Linux and partition you HDD for about 20 GB for Ubuntu. Why? Because, if, you like Ubuntu like I do you will be downloading lots of free-ware and forget you have windows on the other partition. I gave Ubuntu 25 GB, only have used 2.7 GB and already thinking; "Man I should have gave Ubuntu 80 GB, LOL!

No. I have seen it and it is only a theme for XP. It does not give you Aero or any of the other Vista specific features. It will only look like Vista visually. (Icons, Screens, colors)

It doesn't even change the folder icons unless they have changed the package since I tried it.

you need at least GB of memory and 60GB hard drive. Windows by itself is around 2GB just to install if not more
