Sure. You can do that. I even like the high five part but right after that, I would say, "That's great. You want to go somewhere with me? Just for the fun of it?"
That way neither of you will be alone on V-Day and you could get to know each other better.
Ask her if she'd like to grab a burger or something. If she says, "Yes." Then ask her where she'd like to go.
You pay. So say, "My treat."
It's a casual thing but a great way to get closer to her.

Not all girls will feel this way, but even those of us who are a little cynical about love get mushier when it comes to Valentine's Day. I think even the most un-romantic girl would be at least a little flattered about the attention. We tend to take Valentine's Day a little more seriously than guys. So if you do this, you could really mess this girl up... she could become very bitter, all over a little "joke"

Aww, how amazing by using the way. nicely day after today once you're saying "chuffed Valentine's Day" ask her top away if she has any plans and if she would not then ask her if she desire to kick back with you. choose for it, if she's extremely drawn to you she'll bypass and no rely what she's doing she'll text cloth back. good success! chuffed Valentine's Day!

Seems a bit desperate! I wouldn't do it. It's the equivalent of asking someone out on your birthday. I don't think Valentine's day is a good day for a first date. Then again I could be wrong. But if she says yes she does have a date then that would be really awkward for you. Just ask her out for like maybe the weekend just after Valentines.

Yeah right, like she will find this funny? Na I think you should get some kahonas and really ask her out, and see if you might have a great time treating her like a lady.

NO ASKING ANYONE OUT AS A JOKE. That is rude and condesending. If you do sincerly like her then ask her to go out for coffee or something, but never as a joke. And don't high-five her. That is not, in any way, attractive or flirtatous.

Is it OK for a really hot chick to ask you out on Valentine's Day and when you say yes she laughs in your face?

It's never ok to ask a girl out as a joke, it's cruel. You need to grow up and get a life.
