They can be, and they can not be. They are hard. They take a lot of work. They can be a lot more complex than other r'ships. I'd say, if you really love the person, go for it, but know that it will be more work (but can also be more rewarding). If this is someone you just like, and don't really and truly care about, then you might save yourself some grief and heartache by not.
This is a question only you (and this person)can decide by thinking long and hard about it. Also, talk very seriously with the other person, and see if they are as committed to it as you are.

No long distance relationships are really not a good idea there very difficult to maintain. its very hard to have a relationship with someone that you cant see very often. that's not to say they cant work they can but it takes two people that really care alot about one another to make it work. Also trust has to be there especially in a long distance relationship even more so than in a normal one.

Sorry to say, but no...
Eventhough there's a few people sayin' that, it'll work out when you trust for each other. But, anything is possible... People changin'... Maybe it'll work out when it just happen, like 1-6 months maybe you can stand for it. But, when it comes to like years or more... there must be any kind of problems that shows up...
But, if you still think you'll made it and you try...
Remember to prepare yourself for the worse ending.
Don't fall to it too deeply, you'll hurt yourself...

they can be a good way to get to know someone without the physical aspect getting in the way. many couples accelerate their relationship so that they hardly know each other. this way you'll know him for who he really is. plan a fun rendevous every month or something to catch up! good luck!!

No,you can hardly see each other.Your life is based on conversations on the phone and letters written to each other.Not good at all.

they're just as hard as everyone says they are. but i had one with my boyfriend for about a year, we met online. we're still together, he moved to california and lives with me now. but his family is across the country, it takes time and money to visit them. but we love eachother.
