Whenever I drink, I drink WAY too much without realizing it... and I end up regretting it in the morning. When you drink, how do you know that you have had enough? Like what signs tell you that, okay, ive had enough?I love drinking, so I don't wanna do without, but sometimes it scares me.

When I can no longer stand. I usually stop drinking. Usually. My advice, slow down.

Slow down with the alcohol, or you are going to be unable to get through a day without it. Alcohol is not something you should "love," as it will not love you back. If you are drinking in social situations to relax and have a good time, a couple of drinks are more than enough.

If something about it is scaring you, that is the little voice from your subconscious telling you that you are drinking too much, and need to manage your alcohol consumption in a more adult and responsible manner. Good luck.

Usually its better to have a friend that is not drinking with you so they can tell you when you've had enough. When I drink I dont think Ive had enough to drink even though my sober friends tell me Ive had enough. The first hint that youve had too much to drink is when u start gettin sick and you cant stand straight or need someones support to keep you from falling on the floor. Try to know how much alcohol you can handle and set a limit for yourself and stick to that limit.

You need to give yourself a limit before you start drinking. I would say no more than two or three. Yours might be higher but whatever limit you set for yourself you have to stick to it because if you can't that means you have a drinking problem and you need to get help. And if you lose count of how many drinks you've had - your limit is too high! I can't see anything more than 4 drinks being a limit.

When drinking also need to depand on our mood, sometimes when you are moodless you can't even drink much at all. Well, whatever kind of drink you take, just go slow with the flows. When a person get drunk, initially it is hard to tell or ask a person to stop by themselve! Well, next time bring your friends together with you when you gonna drink, so he/she will has the curfew for you! Don't drink when you are sad, surely you'll ended up "DRUNK"! U'knw..
No worries pal! Enjoy drinking but not drunk (eg.vomit/puke)
Tips : Get a bottle of Guiness Stout after too much of drink. You'll get up freshly the next day! Trust me. :)

As far as I know, the first thing our brain does is make our brains incapable of realizing it's drunk...
In other words the more you drink, the less chance you have of realizing it. That's why when you tell a drunk person he has had too much, he tells you he's still sober.

Also, when you want to drink but you don't want to get drunk... do three things:
DRINK, TALK, AND EAT.

Don't keep on drinking cause you'll get drunk fast. Take a sip, talk with your friends, eat a little... then take another sip. It's one of the best ways to drink because it lets your system adjust... at the same time, you drink less in a longer period of time giving you less chances of getting drunk.

WAS married to a 6ft.8" 220 lb. guy that drank 4 half gallon bottles of rum a week. he wasn't violent or anything, but he would get up in the middle of the night & fall, he has MANY scars on his head to prove it, many trips to the hospital in the middle of the night because he needed stitches somewhere, (surgery twice) could'nt remember conversations the next day, lost his job for sleeping. did'nt drink at work but could'nt wait to get home for the first one, did''nt care about anything but 'ole Ron Rico got tired of competing with him. Can you imagine what his liver looks? If you can't have a couple of drinks & be satisfied then you need AA

lol, i dont think anyone can really tell you. when i first started drinking i was just like you. I unfortunately learned through experience. Eventually you will learn to know how muhc you can take before vomitting. For example i can drink to the verdge of vommiting, but generally know to stop just before from experience. But when you get the spins, always stop drinking! The spins always lead to one thing....

I think you know you have had too much when you go for a refill or a new drink and come back to find you haven't started your last drink. JMHO.

Really, the signs are different from person to person. You could feel sleepy, dizzy, have blurry vision, or begin to feel sick. The best thing to do is to drink slowly and build up your tolerance for alcohol. That way, you don't have to worry about regretting it in the morning.
