It says on the back of the bag. Add a certain amount of water, butter and nuke away!
Oh, get a toaster oven, a mini fridge and a hot pot. You can do nacho's, baked chicken, cookies, bread, pizza... geeze, you can do everything with that combination.
DON'T PUT IT IN A PLASTIC BOWL!!!! Plastic leaches carcinogens (cancer) into your food.

Absolutely and the microwave is the best way to prepare FROZEN mixed vegetables. Get one of those containers (plastic) that also includes a top but on that top is a small hole so some steam is slowly relieved while cooking.
All you have to do is drop the frozen mixed veggies into the plastic container put on the top, set the time for 4 minutes and you are done. They come out perfect and no water residue or any loss of color or minerals.
I purchased a 2qt size container and the top as a hole about the size of a pencil diameter and it lets just enough steam out during the cooking process so as to steam cook the veggies perfectly.
Check out the grocery store and get some of those Birds Eye Frozen veggies -LABELED as "STEAM FRESH". Those bags work the same way -just throw in the micro bag and all and they steam cook perfectly. ( they built in a small outlet in their special bag which allows the steam out slowly)
You will be impressed.

RE:
How do you cook frozen mixed vegetables in a microwave oven?
I'm living in a dorm so we don't have a stove, but I don't want to stop eating my mixed vegetables. Is there a way to cook them in a microwave and if so, how?

Only cook frozen veggies in the microwave if the bag suggests that type of cooking. If the bag has microwave directions, follow them. There are frozen veggies now, mainly the Bird's Eye brand, that are specifically made to be cooked in the microwave, in their bags. You can find these at most any grocery store and in the freezer section at Wal-Mart. Hope this helps!

get a glass container with a glass lid, like corning ware or something. put the veggies in, flavor them with your favorite spices or butter, and cook on high for 4 - 7 minutes depending on how much you make. Be careful the container will be hot. Best to use one with a handle of some kind.
