really...now why would someone who is perfectly normal go and chew on paper when they're bored?
but if you must know, NO, YOU WILL NOT DIE. stop worrying, okay? i ate paper once...except it was a dare. and does it look like i'm dead? nope, because i am still typing this five years later. and i suppose it's safe because i ate more than just a tiny piece of corner.

I tell you what when I was younger and in elementary, when I would get a sore throat, I would take plain peice of paper roll it up into a ball and suck on it. Because the paper had salts in it, it would sooth my throat.
Then I found out later, that a home remedy was to take table salt put some in water, gurgle with it and spit.

You will be just fine. We can ingest lots of different things and be just fine. I remember being in grade school there was a boy in my class who sucked his Elmer's glue bottle dry one day. My teacher FREAKED out and went running out of the room with him under her arm. I don't know whatever became of that issue but I know he stayed in school all day. I swallowed a gnat one time riding bike with my kids. I was fine. You will live. More than likely you will poop it out and you won't even know it's in there!
