Yes, Kahlua is 53 proof (26.5% by volume) and is good on the rocks (over ice) by it's self.

kaluha itself is an alcohol and there are mixes with the name kaluha on it to be used as a mixer with their alcohol

yes it does contain a small percentage, read on the label it will tell you the exact percentage, but its not much . you would have to drink a few bottles to get a buzz on.you would probably get sick from the sweetness of it before you would get a little high, just my opinion of course but i stand by it.but if you are a novice drinker one bottle is way more than enough but for us hardcore drinkers no thank you.

There's Kalua Mix which does not contain alcohol. Then, there's Kalua coffee liquor which does contain alcohol.
