i know nothing of the military, never served.
but i heard on the radio an american military office on the radio just days ago comment on the iraqis. he said " for days, every night this position has been attacked @11pm by the opposition and here we are, american forces, tonite having to remind the iraqis that they need to be in position and prepared to engage the enemy @ 11pm."
that speaks volumes---if they arent concerned enough to defend themselves against an enemy who will arrive at a specific time.....i cant imagine them every making an effort if the US pulls out.
