There's a girl in my E.M.T. class that I really like. She's my age, height, has a GREAT personality, and is the"girl-next-door" type. She's a single mom of two daughters. Evrytime our eyes meet, there's this odd feeling that I get. Mostly, I just want to hold her in my arms & never let go. I would do anything to make her happy because she has a gorgeus smile, and she has had a rough life.

Well . . . You said she is a single mother of two children. You might want to find out about her kids and get to know a little bit about them. Don't think about what she looks like and think about her personality. She seems like a "Down to earth" type of woman. You can see that she is struggling so, if you ever see her at the store help her carry her bags. Tell her that you would do anything to help her, if it goes from carrying her bags to cleaning her gutters or something! Just be relaxed around her, loosen up, you don't need to be all tense. Just close your eyes and take a deep breath, and think of her gorgeus smile. When you open your eyes notice something of her that not everyone else sees. If you see her earrings, or tatoos, or necklace, tell her that it's beautiful. Think of her character traits: honest, responsible, ect. Invite her to go to a fancy restruant, or a party. Tell her the striaght up truth about what you think about her. She might be thinking the same thing. Ladies like it when a guy tells her that he likes her, because the ladie is the one who usaully makes the first move. It's time for a change. So you go ahead, and make the first move. Ask her for a date. If she says, no. Then you ask her why? or you ask her maybe some other time? If she says yes and you go on that date. Maybe the second time you can get to know her Kids. Single mommas like it when she dates a guy and he isn't a selfish jerk, she wants to see that you are a true honest and open, figure. So loosen up and don't get nervous!

I think that is wonderful that you are interested in a woman that is divorced, many men don't as I think they are affraid of the baggage that she comes with. In your case she has 2 children how do you feel about it. If you want to date her you have to understand she comes as a package. If say one day she can't see you because 1 of her children are sick then you have to accept that and not be mad at her for it or she may not be able to go out late becasue she has to be home with the kids, but I'm sure there are many ways around it, you could stay home with her watch a movie or order takeout while the kids are sleeping. But if you really feel it in your heart then go for it. if you really want to capture her heart then be compationate and understanding. Good luck

YES!! Just 'cause she's divorced doesn't make her damaged goods. It seems she's everything u want in a woman, so go for it, but remember, she has 2 kids, & sometimes the kids can make or break a relationship, so u have to make friends with them too. Don't listen to people who put her down 'cause she has kids. She's trying to make a life for herself & her kids, & nobody should hold that against her. Good Luck.

What does it matter that she is divorced? You have to do what will make yourself happy. She sounds like a great person. Ask her out and be a good listener and be understanding. The key to any relationship is communication. Ask her out and enjoy your new friendship. If you are lucky you will both be very happy. Take care Heather

Date her as a friend. It will take awhile to get to know her and possibly the family. Keep your eyes open and don't rush into anything.

Don't feel sorry for her. If everything is OK, she's probably grown and profited from her past experience. That's what life is all about.

I see no reason why you shouldn't. Sounds like you could have something there. If you really like her as much as it looks like you do, go for it. And good luck. "Divorced" does not mean "pariah" or "worthless", and it doesn't mean that the person is not able to have a meaningful relationship just because one failed in such an obvious way. Sounds like there's definitely chemistry there, and perhaps something beyound the physical if you dare to try, lol.

You should date her if that is what you really want, just make sure your motives are in the right place. She won't want a relationship built on sympathy just because she's had a rough life.

Would you want another man handling your wife? Matthew 19:6, Mark 10:1-12.

Awww that just made my heart melt.......she needs to hear you say that to her!!!

Anyway I see now reason not to date her, just as long as you are okay with what comes along with it.....would you be okay with the potential of maybe having 2 step daughters? Is the father still in their lives? You would have to deal with him also if he is, as long as you are comfortable with dealing with that stuff go for it!

Goodluck :-D
