start at the last places where you knew they were , and start asking lots of questions. Forwarding addresses, do the6y need to be registered for work , like a nurse , accountant or such.

Missing parent as in they were kidnapped, or as in you were adopted and are trying to find your birth parents? To the latter, there are a number of agencies and websites that can help. but to the first one, don't do anything, that is police business.

do you have a birth certifacate if you do look at it. It tells your birthparents name. Then do some research on the person's name maybe a web search or something of some sort
