if you want to keep your hair looking healthy as it grows longer, it's a good idea to trim your hair when you notice it looking a little crunchy and dingy. i have long hair and this happens a lot. however, i do know that trimming your hair will not make your hair grow longer or faster b/c by the time the hair is coming out of your scalp it is practically dead (there are no nerves and that's why you don't fee anything). whatever you do to the ends of your hair doesn't affect the beginnings!

Trimming your hair is a good idea just to keep in healthly and shapely. If you start to notice dry/damaged and unsightly ends, it's a good time for a trim. Depending on your hair, that could be anywhere from 6 weeks to a few months.

Only get a quarter of an inch off every two months. You can also do recontrustor packets that helps your ends too
