I have long, naturally thick very curly hair, and the worst has happened... it is seriously knotted! So knotted and tangled, its to the point where i may have to cut it off. If there is any one that has some tips or home made remedies to help me solve my problem. Please, let me know before I have to cut off over 10 years of growth. THANK YOU!!

I've had the same problem, and I mix conditioner and water in a spray bottle and spray the heck out of the knot...then using a wide tooth comb or pick (sp?) work at it. If anything it'll become a tiny knot that if you cut it out, it won't be noticeable at all. Good Luck!

I think you need another person to sit and start at the bottom of one small area with a comb and slowly, oh so slowly, comb a bit and work fromt he bottom up. This will take awhile but it will save your beautiful hair!

Wet it and condition it, then take a detangler spray and slowly work a comb through small sections at a time.

Lots and lots of conditioner, a wide tooth comb and patience.

Good luck-- I've had it happen to me too!

Just soak it in oil, or grease and then try to brush it. yah, it's gonna feel really nasty when you do it but it should work depending on how tangled it is.
