what do i install and where do i get it from?

i have a vivitar camera i need to get it free from online

Hey Ashley,

If you have a USB cable, plug it in to your computer. Then start a Windows Explorer session (Start, Programs, Accessories, Windows Explorer). This is the program to look at folders. With one session open, you can highlight the Camera which will show up as a higher letter Disk drive. Open the folders on that drive, and you should be able to see the pictures. Then simply copy them to another drive.
