I am a former Christian and I have read a lot of contradictions, first hand. I would like to know if there is anyone out there who has read any others.....some that I may not have heard?
The ones I do know:
No mentioning of dinosaurs...even though dinosaurs pre-date humans.
Cain had many wives, but where did they come from?
Why did he have more than one wife, if Christians believe in monogamy?
Does anyone know of any others?

Hey Gary: You think you're a true Christian by calling me names? You should apologize before God sends you to hell....hypocrite. Go sell your self-righteous crap somewhere else.
As for the rest of you, I asked a simple question about bible contradictions. SO if you don't have any, then GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

Contradiction: a statement or proposition that contradicts or denies another or itself and is logically incongruous.
direct opposition between things compared; inconsistency.
Yes, I know the definition very well, thank you very much. And the CONTRADICTIONS I have mentioned, are CONTRADICTIONS!!!!!!!!!! And I will tell you why.
Many Christians believe that God wrote the bible. If God wrote the bible, he would have included, "but before man, I made dinosaurs". He would have also included, "and meanwhile, while Cain, Adam, and Eve were alive, I made more people."

I think you might find what you're looking for at the following web site. It covers the entire 66 books of the Bible.

One that springs to mind is Noah's Ark. The writers were obviously only aware of a few animal species, maybe a few hundred at most. But, no ship exists today that could carry two examples of every creature on the face of this planet. And the Ark was supposed to have been built out of wood, unlike our modern ships. It is commonly accepted that any attempt to make a wooden water-craft that is bigger than a contemporary oil-tanker would simply result in the vessel collapsing under it's own weight.
Of course, some will say that the Ark was smaller, and that they only carried examples of the local wildlife. But, then how would they explain how Koala Bears and Kangaroos exist in Australia?

I'm a true Muslim and it is part of Muslim belief to believe on all heavenly books. About Bible (Injeel), there was no contradiction till the time Jesus was called by Allah Almighty to the heavens. Later on people started amending the Bible as per their wishes. Now you must have seen many editions of Bible.
This is only Quran which is Living Miracle as since its first day till today there is no change in it. Allah Almighty has promised for its safe guard.
People here are requested not to feel it personal. I support and believe Bible and Torait as well but in original which are existing. So no need to call names to me or Abbey or any one who expresses his mind. Either we should leave contradictory topics, if we have so none should worry about it. There are many ppl who say bad about Islam. We don't mind as he will be dealt accordingly on the doom's day.

1.So?The Bible doesn't mention many animals,for example,a rhinoceros.That isn't a contradiction.
2.Adam and Eve lived for hundreds of years. They could have had many hundreds of children, which spread around the land over the centuries.
3.Cain made his choice. That doesn't mean that God approves of it.

It just seems that way.... there is no contradictions, some just lack understanding:)
There's is a lot of things that aren't in the Bible that are true, God just put in what he thought was enough, it's just the basics.

What did you say about Cain, Able, Adam and his many sons and daughters (He would have also included, "and meanwhile, while Cain, Adam, and Eve were alive, I made more people.")? Obviously you never read the Bible:
"After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters."

Go to the bookstore and buy "Letter to a Christian Nation" by Sam Harris. There is a lot of good stuff along those lines in there.

the thing that gets me is that through out the bible women are made to be less than man when Jesus loved men and women equally and said for us to do the same.
