when will the war in iraq end?

The war will end in either one of two ways. 1) Iraq will errupt into an uncontrollable civil war and the United States will eventually be forced to abandon the country (or take sides in the civil war). 2) The United States will invade Iran and cut off the insurgent's supply of weapons.

If things don't turn around quickly and the Democrats are leading in the presidential polls, we'll be leaving soon (6 - 9 months, maximum).
But if Iraq is not self-governing and secure when the lefties force us to abandon the mission, then the Middle East is going up for grabs.
(You ain't seen nothin' yet.)
In 2009 when the region is in turmoil and the oil supply has been disrupted and you're paying $5.00 per gallon for gasoline, the Democrats will be blaming the greedy oil companies and the prior administration for invading Iraq and "destabilizing" the region.
Mark my words.

Probably the war in Iraq Woudn't end unless terrorist are still free to do harm to people in their vicinity.

When they can govern themselves and stop all 4 of the wars going on. Not any time soon. Unfortunately. My son is there. There is so much more than what we are seeing in the media going on over there.
