I have the same problem. Its all about hope..that is all there is. Hope that the day will come when it changes. Cause when it does come it will all be worth all the struggle and tears!

Maybe you can invest in some different ways to study for the test. For instance, depending on what the subject is, you can make up a song to the information with the tune from one of your favorite songs. Did you ever notice how catchy songs are??? If you can make up words to the song, sometimes it is easier to remember. Then there are standard things like flash cards or after school help. Sometimes schools offer tutoring programs and you can get help studying there. I always took the creative way out and hummed the information to a tune.
Don't give up though. Don't let the failing a test defeat you in the long run. You Pass some, you fail some, but dont ever let yourself give up on it. Perseverance is the key.

It's a valuable life skill. You can always learn, even a little something, from all of your experiences. Perseverance is a great life skill because things in life don't come easy (for the most part)! If you're really feeling a lot of frustration, don't be ashamed to ask for extra help! You may find some other learning techniques that may help you. Keep working hard and it will pay off!

Since I don't know how old you are, I will give a general answer. As a former teacher who worked with lots of kids who had difficulty with test taking, I devised group study sessions during my lunch break. The kids came come to my classroom with their lunch and questions. We would brainstorm about the areas of difficulty and come up with ways to help them do better on tests.
If you have the most trouble in reading based classes, you may be dyslexic. Speak with your guidance counselor about your concerns. Unfortunately, lots of kids aren't diagnosed with learning disabilities because they fall under the radar. They might pass their classes but do poorly on tests. If the school won't test you for LD, try a learning center like Sylvan. However, it could be test anxiety, too.
Don't give up and don't listen to those who say you aren't trying. You are not alone in this dilemma.

Because sooner or later you will pass. As long as you don't stop looking for new ways to succeed. If you're not trying something different to pass then you can't really expect different results.
There is a way, you just haven't found it yet.

Well you obviously arent trying hard enough if you keep getting the same results. Talk to your teacher and see if you can get a tudor or if they can give you some test taking tips. Getting good grades is so important because you need them to get into college and if you dont get into college, it is a lot harder to make good money.

Is it only in one specific area that you do not pass for example do you fail only your math tests or every subject. If you fail every subject maybe you need to study a bit harder or change they way you study. If it's only one subject you fail maybe a tutor can help. Good luck and NEVER give up!

Take better notes in class and talk to your teacher about it, and maybe the counselor and your parents. I sort of went through that last year at college it sucks. Good luck!
