Yes you can. It won't taste like regular wine, but you can definitely do it. You have to read the ingredients and make sure it doesn't contain any chemical preservatives like sodium benzoate or potassium sorbate. Most concentrates are preservative free.

Just putting it in a bottle and letting it sit will cause it to rot, not ferment. You have to make sure all your utensils and containers are properly sanitized so the do NOT rot or become infected. Then you add wine yeast (not baking yeast) to your grape juice and let it ferment.

Yes, you can make wine just using store bought juices if they don't contain any preservatives that would prevent the yeast from fermenting the sugars into alcohol. A very simple recipe to make wine is located at the source below.

A couple of notes though. You must make sure everything that comes into contact with the juice has been thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, (A couple of tablespoons of household bleach in hot water will work.) and rinsed in hot water to prevent contamination by wild yeasts which would give you vinegar.

This will not, I repeat, NOT produce a $100 bottle of wine. It will produce exactly what you would expect, cheap wine. It is drinkable and some of my friends actually liked it very much. I however will stick to my highly hopped Pale Ales.

Home wine and beer making can be a very enjoyable hobby. If you are interested in producing top quality beer and/or wine at home, I suggest you get a couple of good books on the subject and educate yourself on what it takes to produce award winning wines and beers rather than "Hillbilly Wine". I placed some links below to help you out.

You could but why would you. Basically all you have to do is put fruit juice with yeast in a bottle. If you us store bought grape juice all sorts of trouble can happen. You can get an acid that could ruin things. There could be additives that could ruin the fermentation process. There could be things that are poison to the yeast. Another byproduct could be vinegar with these impurities.
Just buy some grapes and press them. It is simple.

since store bought grape juice is pasteurized, it would make a terrible wine. There are websites to go to where you can get wine grapes or a mash of grapes to be used to make wine.
