You are extremely lucky, most Asian girls I style for have beautiful thick hair.
If you do too, I suggest going to get it layered. This means that the stylist will cut your hair at different lengths throughout the style. This can give your "flat" hair volume, and it will be A LOT easier to style. Another idea is to streak your hair. Putting in highlights can give the appearance of volume and depth in a hair style. light brown to golden brown would most likely be a good decision for your hair. I would try highlights using "foil" this is a less painful method than the "cap" and it will make your hair look sexier and more sopisticated. You could also try side bangs. These bangs would not be in your face, they would fall to the side, instead of covering up your eyes. All of these things would make your hair look sexier, have more volume, and would make it easier to style. Also, investing in volumizing shampoo/conditioner would help a lot.

i dyed it..lightened it a bit to super dark brown. it looks better lighter, but make sure you dont over do it into a red or light brown/blonde. Asians look terrible with hair too light. if you are not going to change the color, why dont you try a different hair cut? a medium length would be nice. or a wave? there are many different things out there

bypass to a hairdresser, get it decrease so it falls basically decrease than your bustline. Get a minimum of four, ling choopy layers and aspect swept bagns, straighten your hair and do the bottom layer in free barrel curls, that is totally gorgeous, very stylish, and anybody can pull it off!

my mom is a hair stylist up styles are the way to go do you know anyone that can do hair if you have to do it by yourself spiral curl it and put it over your shoulder take the curler iron and put it around you re hair but when you re about to take it of do it in a downwards motion

pull you hair into a long ponytail upward, and fold it back down in half. secure with a large barrette. if your hair is long, use two large barrettes. finish with hairsprayto steal strays. i got this from GL mahgazine. it looks really cute!! hope it helps

Try Light colored Highlights and then get it layered.....It will give you a dramatic new look....
