Yes they can. Virginia and Georgia are part of the compact states. If one state suspends your license, the other will honor that suspension. The kicker with Georgia is, you do not have to be served any paperwork on your suspension in order to be arrested since it's through Virginia. Get back with the DMV in Virginia and get everything straightened out.

heck-they can revoke it if they want to. take care of the suspension.
