It's like this. I'm a shy kid that doesn't have too many friends. All my friends have other friends that I don't know so it's kinda weird but I have qs about this guy. When I see him I think he sees me and I really want to smile and say hi but it's so hard, He doesn't know me one bit. This is weird but is there a way I can you know start doing things with him. I'm 14 and never dated anyone is that weird? I really need help. Is there something I can do to get his attention like bump into him by "accident" or something? I just want to get to know him. But then what do I talk about? I'm so confused I don't even remember how I made friends. How can I find out if he has a gf? Basically I want "smooth sailing" but I don't really know how. Those of you girls that are around my age (14) what do you do when you like a guy but he doesn't have any idea who you are? I wish I could smile around him but I can't no matter how hard I try. Please Help!!

girl i am 14 too and i know exactly what youre feeling ok so there was this new kid and i only saw him walking out my 3rd period class so this is what i did i just asked him for his name ( dont be shy boys hate that they like confidence) he said david and we went from there he asked for mine and i told him danielle and for at least 1 minwe were talking like we new each other then he asked me where his next class was so i walked him there we had alot in common he is so cool now we are best friends then its easier to ask him out. what i'm tring to say is speak up dont be shy and have confidence

I know your nervous about talking to him but this is what i do everytime i get nervous about talking to someone ...
i tell myself "its not gunna hurt the relationship we already have". Meaning even if i do sound like a dork its not like im gunna be losing anything. It always works for me. So just talk to him and good luck !!!
