my nickname is gabby, but only my bff calls me that how do i get other ppl to start calling me that instead?

I think the best way would just to ask the people you already know if they would please call you that. If your nice about it, most people will comply, Also when you meet new people, tell them that when they ask your name.

The best way to do this is to start to respond to your desired moniker. Try signing your e-mail as Gabbie. Get a login with Gabby in it. When someone calls you by the other name that you do not want, in your mind count one-one-thousand-two-one-thousand before answering them. Over time gradually increase this to three-one-thousand and further as needed. If you say this out loud it may work even faster people will think you are trying to control your anger.

First off, sign your notes and emails with Gabby and maybe people will get the memo. Also, you could just ask them to call you that instead of trying to subtle things to get your nickname. <3
