My patron is St. Camillus. He was a streetfighter and a very brutal man before converting. He was tall and muscular, very imposing. A big, scary guy. He was also a gambling addict. Well, I used to fight a lot and was often in trouble in school, so when my Confirmation came around, I could certainly identify with St. Camillus. Yes, he was a tough and very angry man with a lot of problems, but God reformed his life, and he became a great saint. He helped organize many hospitals, and devoted his life to healing the sick. I wanted God to reform my life, too.

St. Thomas More is the patron saint of adopted children and adoptive families. In 2004, my wife and I were married in St. Thomas More Church. In 2006 we adopted our son. Sometimes things have a way of working out.

A patron saint is assigned to you at birth. The saint whose day you were born on, and/or the saint you were named after, is your patron saint assigned at birth.
You may have additional patron saints according to your occupation or condition in life, and you may also choose a saint at Confirmation.

I'll be very nice.
Why do you think many Christians say the Roman Catholic church is a false faith? Jealous? Fear?
What most Christians say is they teach tradition even when it contradicts the bible.
Take some time and check out why.
God bless you dear,
