Some of the answers so far are truly puzzling. The formation of a third party is not a prelude to a civil war, nor seditious in any way. And no you do not get the government you voted for, you get a choice between who will represent the wishes of the rich and powerful. America is a democracy with but two choices, and the Republicans and Democrats are not so far removed when it truly comes down to it, if you really think clearly. America is the greatest social experiment in history and can be beneficial to the world and its own citizens by being the shining example it founding father's wished it be. America has essentially confused democracy with capitalism and the accumulation of wealth and power, thus the fight for oil to preserve a consumptive economy. There are always room for new ideas, is there a will to become a true democracy "for the people by the people."

Who did YOU vote for in the last election? Same old geezer that has screwed things up for many years, or someone brand new that doesn't have a clue and will follow the "party line" like all the other sheep? As long as elected officials don't have term limits, they will always do and say whatever they need to do to get re-elected, but will never "fix" the real problems facing this country. Term limits for the congress is the only way to change anything... then they'll do what's right, not what's popular.

Oh, yes, let's vote for ANARCHY--an oxymoronic statement, no? We don't need a third government. We need to work on the current governments--federal and state--and find a way rectify the mistakes of the last 20 years. Personally, I'm all for getting rid of the party system completely--it supports bias and dysfunction, as far as I'm concerned.
Before you start recruiting signatures for your new government, perhaps you should learn proper punctuation and grammar? Then people would at least take you seriously.

We are called a democracy because people have the right to vote into office who they want. The truth of the matter is there are so many people out there who are not registered to vote, and others who just don't take the time to vote. So if you really want to make a difference get out there and volunteer. Get people to register and vote, educate the people who just don't think they count. If all the people who didn't think their vote counted would vote than there will be changes. I was poor growing up and I was the first person in my family to register to vote. Many poor people think they can't make a difference and boy would it make a difference if they would vote.

Your question enables one to answer intelligently since it doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Third party government; do you mean a third party (we already have one, it's the Independent Party). You want to stand up: vote, get involved, find out what your government is doing and be proactive. Obviously, you are young, get involved.

We wouldn't need a new government if the people were doing their jobs. If your Senator or Congressman does something that you don't agree with let them know. We need to speak out more and send the message that if things don't shape up they will be looking for another job next election. We have more power then we think.

ummm... you can give it a try, seriously, but chances are 1 in a million, including getting assassinated for coming up with such an idea, and when you really come into the eyes of the goverment backstage producers and actor, that will only mean trouble for you and who ever supporting that party, TO PREVENT ww3 lol, the government is made for it to start, who ever tries to stop it will end up like JFK.....................................
ps. its a really good idea, i hope ppl do come to support, i really do...

The country gets the government that it votes for. If you don't like the government, then vote a new one in.
I don't think that your advocating a civil war sounds very peaceful.

It is our country. Stand up yourself and make a difference. No one is going to do it for us. We all need to get involved locally and state wide to make our voices heard.
Good luck.
