Tramadol and Soma Watson is what I use to treat my back problems. Tramadol is used to relieve moderate to moderately severe pain. It also may be used to treat pain caused by surgery and chronic conditions such as cancer or joint pain. Tramadol works by decreasing the brain's perception and response to pain. It also reduces the size or magnitude of the pain signal passed from one nerve to another. Soma Watson is a muscle relaxant used to relieve the pain and stiffness of muscle spasms and discomfort due to strain and sprain. I use the tramadol to get me throught the day and the Soma (carisoprodol) lets me sllep the night through. i do not have insurance and the cost and time of going to ER for treatment is just to much money. I found this 24/7 online drugstore. BuyCarisoprodolOnline.Org. http://buycarisoprodolonline.org/ .they have all the Rx pain Meds I need and they always ship OVERNIGHT via Fed ex delivery from a US licensed Pharmacy. You do not even need a prior prescription, they have US licensed Dr.'s write the Prescription for FREE with every order. I Hope this information will help you heal your sore back! take care dear.

I think CaliforniaGirl pretty well covered it. The only other things I would recommend would be to make sure you're eating protein in your diet to help your body heal---Well, let's be honest here, a balanced diet is best but you definitely need protein. Also potassium can help with soreness if the strain isn't too bad. You can get it by eating one banana a day or by taking a supplement. Don't do both and don't tell yourself you need "extra" supplements because you're injured. Potassium regulates your heartbeat and too much can lead to problems that would make you forget about your calf in a big hurry---in ways you definitely don't want. Hope you up and running again soon!

I find that a nice hot shower before the rest but after the pain medicine is a good treatment... a back support may be necessary if this happens a lot or is as a result of an accident.. they are available at drugs stores and work great!!

if it is just a pulled muscle, a couple of days rest in bed - but what if it's not?

you should see a doctor, just in case

alternating hot and cold helps ease the pain, but won't get rid of the problem, do this in conjunction with prescribed painkillers

if the problem persists, you may want to consider visiting a chyropracter - these guys will beat the sh*t out of you, but you'll walk out feeling great! (again this is a temporary solution)

Rest, heating pad, Ibuprofen as directed. Get a massage, that should help loosen up the tension. You can also take Valerian,it will help relax the muscles so they can heal properly. Sit in a hot tub or hot springs, that's another relaxing way to rid yourself of pain.

Ouch...I know that feeling! Try to rest as much as possible. Go to the dr and get some pain pills and muscle relaxers. Take those with a few advil and you will feel better other than that you just need to rest the muscles!

rest the muscles and alternate between applying heat and ice (heat to relax the muscles - ice to alleviate your pain) - you can also try taking motrin or tylenol to help with a little of the discomfort

Consult a Kinesiologist and you will have a scientific massaging technique done. A body building facility normally has one. Expect to spend up to $100 for a 30-minute session.
