It sounds very much like you are getting Migrane Headaches. Anyone that has had one or suffers, like I do, with everyday Migranes knows they are more than just a headache. It is hard to explain to someone the extreme pain and other symptoms that relate to a Migrane. I have been told that most Doctors believe that during a migraine, blood vessels on the surface of the brain expand, causing the area around them to become inflamed and irritate nerve endings. This dilation (expansion) and irritation may account for the pain you experience during a migraine. It may also lead to nausea, sensitivity to light and sound, and other symptoms associated with a migraine. The other symptoms I get are spots in front of my eyes and loss of a certain percentage of vision. Migranes are usually on one side of the head but can include the whole head. The eyes can ache, sinus area and a very sharp stabbing pain are also associated with Migranes.
If you are getting more than two a year or if you have never had one and are now getting the symptons stated above, you need to see a Specialist, a Neurologist, to check to make sure you do not have anything else happening.

These symptons could be caused by a number of problems, however, if they have persisted for more than 24 hours, I would defiantly be seeing a Doctor. If the stabbing pains are on your lower left side, and accompanied by constipation, there is a possibility of appendicitis. See your Doc., and get well soon.

One will need more extensive history to figure that out. Food poisening can cause all those symptoms, especially if you start having diarrhea as well, but headache and nausea can also be migraine or a serious condition like meningitis. If your neck is stiff and hurts when you try to bend it, it's a sign of meningitis and you should seek medical attention. If you are a diabetic you want to chack your blood sugar to make sure it's not too high.

Muscles can eventually get to causing all of these. A complete answer along with how to get better can be found in The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
I suggest both massage and chiropractor.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information
