Food Life is a good one, especially if you're trying to satisfy people with different ideas about what they want for lunch. It's in the basement of the Water Tower (around 800 N. Michigan on the east side of the street).
You could also try Grand Lux Café at 600 N. Michigan (on the west side of street). It's on the second floor, so you can get a nice view of Michigan Ave. if you ask for a window booth. It's a slightly upscale version of The Cheesecake Factory and has yummy, freshly baked chocolate chip cookies for dessert (a dozen normal-sized cookies for about $6).
My sister and I sometimes get together for dinner there and split a dozen cookies to go! YUM!

If you want various options, but on the inexpensive side, you can go to Food Life in the Water Tower. It's sort of like an upscale food court with a lot of good options, all combined in one "restaurant."
There is, of course, Cheesecake Factory in the basement of the Hancock Building, or you can go to its sister restaurant (and, in my personal opinion, the yummier of the two) Grand Lux Cafe (above Ann Taylor, I believe).
I'm a big fan of Chipotle and there's one, I believe, just south of the river on Michigan (maybe at Lake? or Randolph?)
Good luck!

L'Appetito is a really good italian deli like place. There's one on Huron just east of Michigan and one in the hancock center. I could go on forever but I don't really know what your tastes are or if you're just looking for a quick lunch while at work or if you're spending the day on the mile and want to sit down at a restaurant.
