A person can make the claim to be a Christian all they want. That does not make them one. It is our relationship with Jesus that is the determining factor. And that relationship is shown to the world with particular behavior. Hitler's behavior was not Christ like, therefore Hitler could make all the self proclamations he wanted to and still be a liar.
I could write a book, but I won't suffice it to say that Hitler's actions did not match his words and therefore he was not a Christian. And it was so much more than this. Hitler was clearly delusional and it is likely that what he said was more about garnering some sort of support rather than revealing any truth from his heart.
Jesus spoke about this very thing that many people would make the claim, but that their claim was/is false and He does not know them and they are not His.

Even Satan and his demons believe in Jesus, that does not make them a follower of Him. You can not just give lip service to God you have to show signs of being a Christian. Someone can't kill hundreds or even one person and then turn around and say "Oh well, I'm a Christian and forgiven." It does not work that way. You will show your Christianity in living a decent life. You will not be perfect, no one is in this life, but you will not be a murderer like Hitler and think just because you say, "I'm a Christian", think it is OK. Lets use some common sense here, Do you think God is stupid to believe Hitler is a Christian?

In Scripture the word used for "believe" (as in belief that results in salvation) is an active, continuous verb. It is the kind of belief that results in a changed (and changing) life.
The Bible teaches that there are many who profess to be Christians but whose lives show no signs of the working of the Holy Spirit. We are told that, though we won't know for sure who was truly saved until we see God, we should be careful to examine the "fruit" of lives in choosing our Christian leaders.
If, before he died, Hitler fell on his face before God and repented of his sins and trusted in the shed blood of Jesus Christ, he was saved--even if he didn't have time to prove it to anyone. But Hitler's life, up to the point of his death, did not in any way reveal a man transformed by the working of the Holy Spirit according to the Bible. If he "believed" in God up to that point, perhaps it was as the demons believe. They believe and shudder. They don't choose to submit their will to God's, and their "belief" does not result in their salvation.

your premise is filled with serious errors.
a person who believes in God is not necessarily a christian. If it were so, those people would only qualify for a title like Godians.
(even Satan believes there is a God.
he has even seen God.)
what is required is a belief that Jesus Christ is God, thus CHRISTians.
Hitler did not believe that Jesus was God.
thus, Hitler was NO christian.
God would not admit Hitler to Heaven in that state.
people are saved by God's Grace.
it is a gift that one need only accept.

Admittance into heaven is solely besed on believe. It's God's grace that gets us there. And if it couldn't be abused, then it wouldn't be grace. But here's the thing....
What you say and what you believe are 2 different things. I know several people who's parents think they're christian but are professing agnostics or atheists. So its something thats really in your heart. And I really, really doubt Hitler had accepted Christ in his heart.

Because we know them by their fruits. And God knows the intent of the heart. The Bible reads, "Not all who cry 'Lord, Lord' will be saved'. Do you think the good Lord wants to populate His heaven with the likes of Hitler? Doubtful. Do you think that Hitler ever sincerely repented for his crimes? Not likely.

Hitler did alot of atrocious things to humanity, he may have believed in Christ and what he stood for. But only and only if he was truley remorseful for what he did would he have been able to get into heaven.
But if he truley did believe in Christ and his beliefs then he would never have committed all of those atrocities in the first place. I believe Hitler was delusional.

You need to study your history. Hitler was raised christian. He sought to return Germany to its old Nordic roots. He wanted Germans to worship Oden and the old Nordic gods. He hated christianity for its Jewish roots.

My view on this comes from the book of James in the bible. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? And Paul himself struggled much to live a life worthy;

I believe he thought he was the anti Christ. If he had repented and was sincere then he would have made it to heaven.I`m not his judge. He was brutal and evil in his way of life and that defies any christian believe system that I know.Maybe he did repent but that's something we don`t know.
