I would not bathe dogs until they are a few months old. You take the risk of them getting chilled. Get a waterless shampoo for puppies at a pet store and use that

don't bathe those little puppies. their mother bathes them. You could give them an upper respitory infection like pneumonia. Wait until they are at least 8 to 10 weeks old. It is too cold now to give dogs baths unless they are adapted to weather and are old enough to endure being wet for long periods of time. my question is why do you think you need to bathe them?

You really should wait until they are at least AT LEAST 6 weeks old. I know they smell a bit, but the mother dog should do a good enough job cleaning them until they are 6 weeks old.

Lol.
Your puppies NEED to smell! It's how mom locates them in the house. =)
However, you can take a warm sponge and a towel to the little guys if they get dirty. Mom is most likely washing them. Wait until they're at LEAST two months old until you wash them,or they'll get -sick-.

No, wait until they are at least 6 weeks, if you bath them you will be taking away their scent from their mother and their skin is way to sensitive.

With no real offense to you, please consider that Their SMELL is SO MUCH a part of the bond to MOM. Gee it's the smell of a baby, re-think that it might OFFEND. If MOM is present, she CLEANS them very well.
Again, with no offense, is this your first such experience? You might try moving the TRIBE to another area of your living/LOVING situation, or just endure it cuz it's a natural part of the process of life, especially in the animal kingdom. Let it happen, sigh.

no you should not. their mother will bathe them. you need to wait until they are fully weaned before you do anything of the sort! and mom will do the weaning as well. you dont have to do anything but at about 4 weeks old start putting wet puppy food down for mom to teach them to eat it.

Let their mom keep them clean-that is her natural job. Question--are you keeping their area clean? Changing newpapers, etc. in their potty area on a regular basis? Also, do you have sheets, towels, blankets down for them? Are you keeping up on keeping them clean? If not, that is probably what is causing the smell. Not them, nor their mom. 2 weeks is way too early to take them from mom to clean them. Please keep their area clean, on a daily, usually a couple times at least Enjoy the pups-they grow so quickly, and are so cute! Take care.
