lets say that i'm going on my first date with someone. she has a good sense of humor and she thinks that i do as well, but my personality is best when i'm with my friends and we will be on the date alone (of course). I'm not a very big talker, matter of fact when my friends arent around, i don't have anything to say. what should i talk to her about? I mean, obviously i can't just sit there in silence, what topics are appropriate, I'm kinda a geek i guess.

If you are nervous or not comfortable keep asking questions...but make sure you concentrate on the answers just in case she asks you back....etc...keep an eye contact -that's a must and be a gentleman... smile and make her feel like she is the most interesting, beautifull and important person right now...

It depends on a lot of things. If you are in college talk about what is going on ..on the campus or with different organizations....If the both of you are in school ask her why she majored in whatever and what she plans to do after graduation...some people further their education. You can also ask her about siblings, jobs, fashion trends and styles......I mean you have to find out what she likes or what is she passionate about...The main thing is be yourself and be confident. Seriously, it is all abou presentation. Make sure you open the door for her at all times and pull her chair out for her. I mean it is the little things that really add up. When you talk to her look her in her eyes. I am telling you it works. A lot of guys they tend to have wondering eyes......Let her know that you are paying attention to her....I would also practice if you aren't comfortable... Make sure you dress nicely. French blue is a nice color....with some slacks...Now make sure your outfit...whatever you wear is perfect and you smell good. I am telling you that can make or break you too. Armani has some nice cologne. Polo Double Black or Polo Black smells awesome too....if you don't like either...you need to take a trip to a cologne counter in the mall and make sure whatever you put on compliments you. Make sure your transportation is clean on the inside and outside too. Oh, put back to the conversation you can also ask her about movies that are playing or she has seen ....that can prompt another date. Oh with your cologne don't put on too much...if you don't have the funds they have samples....hey make sure it goes with the chemistry of your body...if not you will stink and you don't want that. best answer in this situation i think is to simply talk about whatever you think she wants to talk about.. ask her questions, and don't think that she's going to get annoyed by it.. she going to love it.. she's going to love the attention, youre going to love not feeling those awkward silences, and the conversation will just find itself

you start by asking her a question, you talk about movies, which are her favorite & which are your favorite, which 1s she likes & which 1s you like and which 1s you'd both like to see. once you get comfortable start asking her to tell you about herself, then talk about what you liked about her (you know, like the reason you asked her out) and tell her about yourself. then at the end of the date you can ask her out again, this time to go see a movie (1 you both want to see). BTW, on the first date you should go to the mall.
