I have a few thoughts, but no real idea.
1. Well GOD wrote the 10 commandments - so there's a start.
2. As Ma stated in her answer - Jesus wants us to do that.
3. GOD will is not forced on us (all humanity) - we have been gifted with free will BY GOD; so we have to freely chose to follow the path GOD laid out. (Instead of doing whatever we want, regardless of outcome.)
I think GOD wants the best for us, and wishes we would choose to live easier and work together, instead of the system we have now.
Really, I wish I knew! Then I would not second guess myself so much, on some big desicions I have made, or will make. After all I am hoping to be in heaven, not hell.
