Heaven's Messenger:
Apples and oranges! Atheists lobby Congress to reverse YOUR intrusions. Getting religion out of government is hardly taking it out of YOUR ~personal~ life. You don't need gov't sponsorship of Christianity in order for YOU to live a Christian life.

Malak:
A) you can send your kid to a religious school
B) you and your kid can pray pretty much anywhere outside of school
C) even in public school, no one can control what is going through your kid's mind, so if s/he is praying, who is going to know? When a faculty member is LEADING a group prayer, that is government sponsorship of religion.

This isn't rocket science.

You don't??? It wasn't theists who lobbied to get prayer out of school, not to mention not being able to even use the word christmas. Wonder who that was???? It wasn't christians who made abortions legal either, yet you blame us for lobbying against it? You get laws enacted because that's what you want, but we shouldn't have the right to do the same? That's the pot calling the kettle black.

Why do atheists lobby Congress to intrude into our lives? Why can't they mind their own business? See, same difference isn't it?

Added: Say what you will, but you asked and I answered. Look at prayer in schools, when it was removed for the sake of atheists it also affected Christians, no way around it!
