I like to wear black clothes because in them I feel beautifull safe and protected, I know it sounds weird, but that's just the way I feel, the problem is people won't accept me this way, not even my mom, she's always telling me I look goth and saying goth is demonic.
My friends are always telling me I look gloomy and saying I should wear more colors, and even the mother of one of my friends told him he couldn't go anywhere with me because of the way I was dressed.
What should I do??
Should I pretend to be someone I'm not just for people to accept me??
How do I tell my mom goth is what I am and it won't stop me from being a good christian??

Don't change who your are because it's not what everyone expects you to be. Changing yourself to please people will only make you unhappy. Screw 'em. Tell them to try dressing like you do. Maybe they'll see it's not so bad.

No you shouldn't. Try this one dinner a week you eat dinner with the family wearing something other than black if she will leave you the alone the rest of the time. That way she can talk to you and see your not weird(sorry couldn't think of another word) and maybe get off your back. Talk about current events let her see that your still the same person.
Of course if you are older than 18 this doesn't apply
I think giving up Black one night to have her off you back might be worth it then slowly start wearing a little black at those dinners
and because you been talking she want even notice because she gotten a chance to see the real you. Then it can be all black because she will see that you are still the daughter that she raised.

you should follow your heart and be yourself. never try to be someone you're not for any reason. in your quest to please others you may lose yourself. however, as the old saying goes"clothes don't make the man" or woman, in this case.you are you no matter what you wear and sometimes change can be a good thing.but only if you are comfortable with it. keep an open mind. you never know what can happen. now i have a q. what is about black that makes you feel protected and what do you need protection from? you might think about that. just a thought. be happy.

religious persons are actually not fact deniers, that's merely call calling. religious human beings could merely as truthfully call you a fact denier for denying the fact of God's existence. no longer all religious human beings have confidence the bible, Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs are all religious and have no longer something to do with the bible. If God is actual each thing in the bible is feasible, that does no longer propose we gained't reconcile medical findings with our religious perspectives. on the grounds which you're in the temper for polemics, in case you declare something exists there is often a huge gamble you're able to be proved top, even yet it incredibly is no longer feasible to tutor a damaging so in case you're saying something would not exist, whether we explored each sq. picometre of the full cosmos you nevertheless would not be waiting to assert with a hundred% incontrovertible fact that it did no longer exist, purely which you had did no longer discover it. As for speaking snakes, women human beings being created out of a rib etc. i could desire to direct you to Clarke's regulations (Arthur C. Clarke became the inventor of the telecommunications satelite and author of a few incredibly staggering technological information fiction). Clarke's 3 regulations are 3 "regulations" of prediction formulated by using the British author and scientist Arthur C. Clarke. they are: a million. while a outstanding yet elderly scientist states that something is feasible, he's very nearly easily top; while he states that something is impossible, he's probable incorrect. 2. the only way of examining the bounds of the feasible is to project somewhat way previous them into the impossible. 3. Any sufficiently progressed technologies is indistinguishable from magic.

my advice to you is to try on some different colors. but in moderation to start. you might find that more people will feel comfortable talking to you. i will admit i dont care for people for act goth and dress like that. i think that goth people do the whole black thing just for attention. i used to dress like that. but i changed. just try something and see what happens. i get alot more attention from the ladies and everyone else now that i changed.send me a message and tell me how it works out if you decide to try it.

It is true people should accept you for who you are and let you change when ready and not to please them. Do not pretend to be someone or let them make your identify other that what is acceptable by you. Now sometimes people means well and feel there ideal of dressing in colors will enhance the beauty that could be seen in you. However it is your discretion.

Do what makes you feel good.
As long as you're not out killing animals and sacraficing children people should realize you're not a bad person.

There is nothing wrong with wearing black clothing if that's what you want to wear. I've never seen anything in the Bible about it being wrong to do so. Besides, if you try to please everyone you will probably just be making yourself unhappy. You can't please everyone.
