is it 100% god's true word, it makes 100% sense?

if "no"
your saying that the earth does not move, and that it is the center of the universe. your nuts. there are other countless contradictions in both the NT and OT. and you HAVE to deny evolution to say "no".

if "yes"
then how do you know the whole thing isnt mis-interpereted? maybe its the "7 commandments" and the "10 deadly sins"? why base your life on a flawed peice of literature?

it makes no sense any way you slice it.

I suppose every part of the Bible has been misinterpreted, just like you are misinterpreting the passages about the earth being fixed, or settled, which is merely an affirmation that nothing is going to happen to planet earth until God has accomplished His purposes and plans for it.
There are no flaws in the Scriptures. I have read them cover to cover many times and find them to be consistent and reasonable to the one who is teachable.
I know of a professor of philosophy whose specialty was logic, who some forty years after being converted and having studied the Bible extensively in the original languages stated that it was the most logical book he has ever read.
The problem does not lie in the Bible, but in you.

Thats whats wrong with the world they are always changing things. The Bible say "I am the Lord I changes not." so why would you even ask a question like this...but just like one of the answers said the Bible is a spritual thing and if you are not of the spirit then yes all of it is a misinterpretation for you because you will never understand it. But to answer the main question it is yes because people are always misinterpreting the bible so that it can fit their needs.

The Bible is a collection of books by many authors. Some of these authors teach in real terms and some of the teach in parables like Jesus Christ did.

You have a complete lack of understanding of the Bible, the 10 commandments and the 7 deadly sins.
The Bible is not a science book. It is the one and only way to get to know your lord so that you can have a personnal relationship with him.

A better question might be has any part NOT been misinterpreted. People love to twist the bible to support one cause or the other, and it's surprisingly easy to do. Not everyone bases their lives on the bible literally, but many people base it on its basic ideals.

You will not understand the Scripture fully unless you have the indwelling Holy Spirit....

Sorry, That's the way God planned it,....

" For the natural man receives NOT the things of the Spirirt of God , for they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them, for they are spiritually discerned" - I Corin. 2:14
