what is limewire and is it illegal cuz im thinking about downloading it!!?!!??!?!!?!?!?!?

Well the program is not illegal, but downloading songs from it is, apart from that , it is very unsafe, other users can look at your files or send you a virus via limewire, you should probably try the safe LEGAL program that is online based so you dont download any program, you just type what you want , find it online and download :)! it's called 4shared and is very similar to limewire but is SAFE and LEGAL and ONLINE BASED unlike limewire so go ahead and try it,, it rocks!

On limewire, you can download a whole bunch of pictures, music, and movies. I have it and it really helps. Downloading the material though, is illegal.

limewire is basically people sharing their files and other people downloading them. the program is not illegal but as soon as you download a file off of it such as a song or movie, it is considered illegal. if you decide to download it, you have to be careful with what you download. make sure you have a firewall set up because a lot of people who use limewire end up with virus's. but as long as you have a firewall and be careful with what you download, you should be fine.

Limewire is perfectly safe and legal, to an extent. Thats where I get all my music and many videos. You just have to watch out for the files with alot of seeds, those are fakes and they take you to porn sites where you could possibly catch a bug or something. Its a great program though, better that the rest.

First of all, Limewire is Hard Spyware. It will demolish your entire computer system and throw all your personal information on share...I request you NOT TO USE LIMEWIRE AT ALL.
Better to use Bit-torrent software or more better buy a affordable CD/DVD.

LimeWire is a place where you can download music for portable music players. And it's not illegal. Unless u doenload something.

limewire is peer to peer file sharing. The program itself is not illegal, but as soon as you download music, software or movies, you are committing a crime by downloading illegally. Those items are copywritten and unless you pay for them, you are stealing them.

Limewire itself is not illegal, but using it to download, or (especially) distribute, copyrighted material is illegal.

Uh downloading in Canada is not illeagal yet. Limewire is free sooo....and plus, who's gonna know unless you're dumb and talk about it in public where cops are around??

Limwire is illegal program and yeah it is.Its a program where u can burn cd's from and listen to music but u could get arrested if the cops find out
