It depends on whether you have curly or straight hair but there are some basic things to do. If you have curly hair you obviously shouldn't brush it when it's dry and you should use a diffuser with a blow dryer. Try not to comb or brush curly hair after conditioner is rinsed out. It also helps to put gel or moose in curly hair. The main key to de-frizzing all types of hair is keeping it well moisturized. I really like the Instant Mosturizer conditioner from Paul Mitchell. A less expensive brand that is still good is Aussie Moist Conditioner. You can also experiment with deep conditioning treatments and leave-in conditioners. The frizz-ease serum from John Frieda works amazingly well. It may seem expensive for such a small amount but it lasts a long time. Another handy trick is to do the final rinse of your hair with cold water. Hot water strips away moisture. Sometimes hair will frizz uncontrollably because of the level of humidity in the air however.

It took me almost 20 years to figure out the best way is not to skimp when buying shampoo and conditioner. i used to buy the cheap stuff, but now I buy panteen and stock up when its on sale. Don't use the 99 cent stuff!!
My hairs really curly, and if you have frizz it sometimes helps to use a bit of condition instead of gel or mousse. It makes it not crusty or heavy.

Condition, condition, condition. Use deep conditioners, hot oils, and anti-frizz serums. There are 100's of products out there to help reduce frizz. Also let you hair air dry as opposed to using a dryer, it's much easier on your hair and keeps it from drying out too much.

To make my hair not frizz, I put a dash of olive oil and sometimes baby oil into my hands, thn begin to rub into my hair.
It works for me. But it does make your hair color darker.
