Only an irresponsible idiot would do so. The damage to your vehicle doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but if you are at fault in an accident, and injure or kill a young brain surgeon or nuclear physicist with a family, you will be sued for huge amounts. You cannot bankrupt your way out of the debt incurred.

i would recomend that you never ever do that my cousin got caught driving with no insurance and in canada there first offence fine is 4000$ and he has been caught many times had to beg to get his licence back and now has to pay off the fines plus a high insurance rate

I don't as it is illegal in Ohio. If you're caught driving without it's an automatic 6 months (I think) license suspension.

Nope, here in California you can lose your vehicle for it - and I cannot afford to replace my truck - insurance is definitely cheaper.
