When gods cause wars, kill babies or gamble with people lives, who tells them that it's not right? Do they have a book full of 'what not to do' if your a god? Or like the 5 holy laws of Godhood? Who condemns gods when they become malevolent?

Pallas Athena was the one you could appeal to if you thought that the gods had made a decision in error

If God has to face a Judge and to whom is the Judge responsible. This list will go on without end. If that end is found, it comes back to God. So therefore God is his own Judge and for that He has caused a Bible to be written about Him. A small book which you can finish reading about a week or so. But this book shows you the correct way to face this Judge. Unless you deny or don't believe in God, you seem to have the right to condemn Him but would you bring any change. Do you think your outburst can lead some away from their belief different from you. This is what you can probably achieve. But God is still there judging you because your complaint does not remove him or stop him from that position. But we believer believe He is the creator. And so, whether you like it or not you life is subject to Him. Because you cannot live forever. Your denial of him will not add any more years to you life. You will still go. Let's say, if it happened that God the Judge is there waiting for you, would you be able to ask him or criticize Him. If you believe you don't have a soul, then is it of any benefit you criticize God. So let God exist and you do exist subject to the surrounding circumstances that control your life until your last breath. How sad, a mere life of a cog or breath? No soul and no hope of after life. Why live at all? It is vanity and meaningless.

Both stephanie J and endora make good points.
This is a old question for which no one has come up with a good answer.
But i will hazard a try. All Gods are of humankind's ideas. And called by the name that humans decided to call them.
And all are answerable to the Prime Creator that made the souls of all that was and will be.

There is only ONE GOD and he will not be judge.....Why would HE??? He has all power no one is above HIM.
2. God does not start wars if you read it in Matthew 24, you will see that he has warned us of the wars and told us to be not troubled and what this means is basically God already know whats going to happen before it happens just like HE knew you was going to post this question but it is obvious that you really need to seek the LORD and get to know HIM for yourself.

in case you do no longer sin yet keep God's commandments, judging for your self what's suitable in accordance with the instructions we've been given, then God won't could decide you, and you will in no way die.

God is perfect. Wars are caused by mankind, people kill babies, we have free will. The God of this World is Satan. God only allows Satan to punish those that do wrong, and serve him. If God did not allow sin for any moment in our world, then we would all be destroyed in an instant.

Uh, let's back up there.
1) God is judge. Being Creator, He has that right.
2) You are not judge. Being created, you have only the right to remain silent.
3) God doesn't kill babies, other humans such as you do that. No court of law would convict God of any of the crimes you charge Him with. You be more successful blaming me than Him.
4) He allows each human a measure of free will. What you're really saying is that you want God to cancel the free will of these people whom you think are evil. To be fair, in doing that, God would have to cancel YOUR free will choices too. Do you really want that?

God does not cause wars, kill babies or gamble with people lives.
people cause wars, kill babies or gamble with people lives.
so you, the created, wish to judge the Craetor, who in this case is a Perfect God.
perhaps you might want to reconsider your options in line with your qualifications.

Well, in a video game concept, a mortal would stand up to one and deem the gods abusive and just defeat somehow...

As for a real answer to a good curious question, SUPPOSEDLY gods know what to do.... SUPPOSEDLY..

This is the old "Infinite Regression" theory. "I'm not going to believe in God because if somebody made me, then who made God,,,and who made the God who made God......and regress, regress, regress..to....? But the question is irelevent, because if you stand in front of God and say "I did'nt believe in you because I can "regress" beyond you to somebody who must have made you"...then, God could answer, "It does'nt make any difference who made ME, the only thing that makes any difference, is I made YOU! Now WHY did'nt you do what I told you to do"? Now where are you going to go from there? WE are responsible to the Being that made US, not the Being who might or not might have made HIM. Get it?.....theBerean
