May or may not be what you are looking for, but they may be what you need.
Psa 62:7 On God is my salvation and my glory; my strong rock, my refuge is in God.
Psa 62:8 Trust in Him at every time, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah.
Psa 56:3 The day I am afraid I will trust in You.
Psa 56:4 In God I will praise His Word; in God I have trusted; I will not fear; what will flesh do to me?
Mat 11:28 Come to Me, all those laboring and being burdened, and I will give you rest.
Mat 11:29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, because I am meek and lowly in heart, "and you will find rest to your souls." Jer. 6:16
Mat 11:30 For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.
1Pe 4:12 Beloved, do not be astonished at the fiery trial happening among you for your testing, as if a surprise were occurring to you;
1Pe 4:13 but according as you share the sufferings of Christ, rejoice; so that you may rejoice exultingly at the revelation of His glory.

My best bet for the first phrase would be Proverbs 3:5-6, though the whole idea is not represented in the verse(s)...the part about closing eyes...
for the second, it's most commonly misquoted for 1 Corinthians 10:13

1 Corinthians 10:13 - No temptation has taken YOU except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let YOU be tempted beyond what YOU can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out in order for YOU to be able to endure it.

I'm not sure, i dont have a bible with me but it's in Psalms. God always talks about releasing your burduns upon him because we as imperfect cant handle everything by ourselves. we were made to need him - thats why thee is a bible. For instructions on how to live your life.

"Trust in Jehovah with all your heart and do not lean upon your own understanding. In all your ways take notice of him, and he himself will make your paths straight." -- Proverbs 3:5,6
I will say to Jehovah: “[You are] my refuge and my stronghold,
My God, in whom I will trust.” -- Psalms 91:2
1 Show me favor, O God, because mortal man has snapped at me.
Warring all day long, he keeps oppressing me.
2 My foes have kept snapping all day long,
For there are many warring against me high-mindedly.
3 Whatever day I get afraid, I, for my part, shall trust even in you.
4 In union with God I shall praise his word.
In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me?
5 All day long they keep hurting my personal affairs;
All their thoughts are against me for bad.
6 They attack, they conceal themselves,
They, for their part, keep observing my very steps,
While they have waited for my soul.
7 On account of [their] hurtfulness cast them forth.
In anger bring down even the peoples, O God.
8 My being a fugitive you yourself have reported.
Do put my tears in your skin bottle.
Are they not in your book?
9 At that time my enemies will turn back, on the day that I call;
This I well know, that God is for me.
10 In union with God I shall praise [his] word;
In union with Jehovah I shall praise [his] word.
11 In God I have put my trust. I shall not be afraid.
What can earthling man do to me?"
-- Psalms 56: 1-11
"For we do not wish YOU to be ignorant, brothers, about the tribulation that happened to us in the [district of] Asia, that we were under extreme pressure beyond our strength, so that we were very uncertain even of our lives. In fact, we felt within ourselves that we had received the sentence of death. This was that we might have our trust, not in ourselves, but in the God who raises up the dead." -- 2 Corinthians 1:8,9
"So, if any one of YOU is lacking in wisdom, let him keep on asking God, for he gives generously to all and without reproaching; and it will be given him. But let him keep on asking in faith, not doubting at all, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and blown about." -- James 1:5,6
Hebrews 11 has a lot about faith, & the examples of many faithful ones of God's people.
"No temptation has taken YOU except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let YOU be tempted beyond what YOU can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out in order for YOU to be able to endure it." -- 1 Corinthians 10:13
I'm not sure what you are refering to: "close your eyes& give it to faith". Close your eyes to ? ? ? Be careful what you close your eyes to!
"Make sure of all things; hold fast to what is fine."
-- 1 Thessalonians 5:21
