Call the county courthouse where it occurred. They will tell you what to do. They are not going to come after you. You will either be asked to pay the fine and a penalty, which I would do immediately, or they will tell you it's been dismissed.

There is no statute for warrants, only the time from the crime to when you are charged. You will have to contact the court to make arrangements to take care of it. I've seen warrants over 15 years old for simple traffic tickets.

Do you ever intend to go back to or through Oklahoma? I find it hard to believe it hasn't been purged after all this time if its only for a traffic offense.
If you can settle it for $120 it might be worth your peace of mind to take care of it. I would also get a letter stating you have taken care of it to the full satisfaction of the court in case it ever comes up in a background check.
Who knows, you might want to run for public office one day.

usually, statute of limitations apply only to how long between the crime and when they charge you with the crime. If you evade arrest after a charge (warrant) you can't use the statute of limitations to your advantage. I'd talk to a lawyer. You can probably get a free consult if you contact your state bar association.

The best thing to do is pay the ticket. It will eventually catch up with you.

If you don't pay it, if you ever have police contact in OK you will be arrested. But, if you never go to OK again, you are fine.
