Wine has been described as very healthy when consumed in moderation. It lowers cholesterol, improves digestion and decreases toxic levels of stress hormones. There are controversial studies on both sides of the fence and some even recommend drinking pure Grape juice (not from concentrate) will provide the same benefit. It is really up to you - if you have 1 a day or just on the odd occasion it can be very healthful - but like all good things to much is never a good thing - remember excessive amounts of carrots can turn you orange and cause liver as well as kidney damage. Just remember a little is just right. Cheers!

Pretty darn healthy. The wine's desirable components are normally not consumed during the day. I would guess however that the same thing could be accomplished by taking the appropriate supplements every day. It's just that wine is more fun!

It's been proven that drinkers live longer than non-drinkers - but different studies have defined "drinkers" as 2-3 drinks a night to 2-3 drinks per month, so it's still unclear how much you should actually drink

Very healthy. And the first guy is wrong. Moderate alcohol computation has shown benefits but red wine contains anti-oxidents that are not is any other type of alcoholic drink.
