If you have very mild allergies it shouldn't be a problem. Usually simple allergy meds used occasionally will work.

Otherwise, it will be tough. The cat hair and dander gets everywhere. It's pretty hard to isolate it. But at the very least, keep the cat out of your bedroom.

The thing that you're allergic to is the cats dander...or it's spit....you are exposed to it when it cleans itself and you pet the cat. Allergy shots are the only way pretty much...sorry

Keep the cat real clean, and vacuum a lot. Use the very good allergy air filters and keep the furnace blower on all the time.
