Seems to me that many people seem to have a "God complex."
Anyway, the operative words you used were "...supposed to be..."
Perhaps it isn't wise to have such expectations.

You're completely right. My husband and I were talking about this the other day. The problem is that a lot of people still hold their religious leaders in high regard. So it's very easy for a clergyman to abuse that power. As a spiritual leader in the temple I attend, I've often been amazed at how easy it would be to bend others to my own will. I've never done it and never would (because it would go against my beliefs, personal ethics, and what my religion teaches) - but that doesn't mean I haven't noticed how easy it would be to do.

Any person that has a call of God on their lives and operates in ministry is there because God put them there. They have a very special anointing(enabling) from the Lord. If they mess up from time to time its unfortunate but they answer to God for their iniquity(as do we all). If you encounter any minister in an inappropriate situation, pray for that person immediately. Ask God to help them get back on the right track. If you critisize them you will find yourself being judged for the same thing or even worst. In addition, the Lord will hold you responsible for not having prayed for that person when they needed your prayers most.
Rom 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
1Ch 16:22 [Saying], Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Psa 105:15 [Saying], Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

Some people call me a minister/evangelist, I live in a mobile home and I am thankful to have a roof over my head. The HD 350 is about out of gas and the HD 250 has enough to get to church for a Saturday service and I am hoping to get enough money to get gas to go back for Sunday morning service. Then get enough money to buy gas to go back on Sunday evening. I spend more of my retirement check from the military on the church than what I get for my expenses.

God holds leaders within the church to a higher standard. They are to be shepherds entrusted with the flock of God's people. Yes, many fall to the sin of pride perhaps because the position lends itself to people putting their leaders on "pedestals." God is clearly not pleased with leaders who lack humility and he often pulls these leaders down.
There are many, many leaders, though, who serve faithfully and with great humility. The best leaders, according to Scripture, are those who are primarily servants.

You are right there. Pride is a terrible thing and to often, permeates the very pulpit from which the Gospel is to be proclaimed. But be assured, God does not look kindly on those who use the office of "shepherd" to elevate themselves. He has wonderful ways of knocking the arrogance and pride right out of them, see Ted Haggard.

You are either going to the wrong church, or you have a hidden issue. I have never seen a Minister challenge anyone or condemn them. You may be beating the bush here a bit. It may be that your agenda is the one that conflicts,.

Mankind in religion has God complex. Mankind in religion is not focused on the purpose of God’s exist. Mankind in religion is focused on “Greed!” Lying and exploiting God and the word of God. Not to save your soul but to satisfy his need “Money!” Mankind in religion has made God not complex to me, thus, I just learned through the “Holy Spirit,” that I listen not to man on how to Love and Praise “Jesus” or “God,” That spirituality is a 1on1 relationship!

Yes, I have been reading a book called "The subtle power of spiritual abuse", referring to that very thing.
Unfortunately, some people who are put in a position of leadership in their churches should not be there.
That is why it is so important for Christians to think for themselves.
