All you can really do is look for the "signs" and report them to your local police. If you neighbor has a garage with suspicious odors coming out of it you have the right to report it. Lots of "15 minute" visitors to a residence, report it. I know some will say this is overstepping the bounds but that's like in America. It is up to every citizen to take control of their own lives and neighborhoods. If you have called the police and they come to do a search, if they have nothing to hide then they should welcome the police. It's the ones wanting to hide something that worry about their "civil liberties" being violated. The police may search my home at any time and the government can listen to as many of my phone calls as they wish, I have no problems with either. I am willing to do my part to help make the world of my children and grandchildren a better, safer place.

This is a difficult question. Meths is a dangerous and highly addictive drug. Average people can help, they need to work with their schools demanding drug education for children in ELEMENTARY school. There needs to be a program that is tailored to the age of the children, but does not sugar coat the perils of drug use. Then, secondly, work with your elected officials to make sure that drug program money isn't cut from the budget. There needs to be enough programs for those addicted to get the help needed to kick the addiction. I have seen people who wanted to get help be put on a waiting list because of the lack of programs. This only minimizes their chances for success.

Contact local law enforcement for training on "awareness". Then if you see something you can report it.

Otherwise do your best not to fuel things that methheads use to continue the problem. Shred papers with any identifying information when you are through with it, engrave your personal items for identification after a burglary, lock up valuables, give to "hand up" programs, not "hand out" programs.

You can phone in to crimestoppers any information about dealers or places where dealing is taking place. Sometimes the drug unit can use this information to obtain warrants to bust the dealers.
On the other end you could donate time or money to a drug rehabilitation program that helps people get off ice.
You can also educate your children about it and hopefully they will never try it.

The first step would be to actually guard our border with Mexico.Since most states mad ephedrine, the main ingredient in meth,illegal,80 percent of the crap is manufactured in Mexico, then smuggled in.But don't look for that to happen soon, because our corporate masters have to have their supply of illegal workers unhindered.

report it to your local drug unit and they will take the information from there to shut them down. The drug dealer, the supplier, and the user
